Deriving its name from the original title of the Iowa Law Review, The Bulletin is a component of the Iowa Law Review Online dedicated exclusively to publishing student-written pieces. The Iowa Law Review's Online department selects five student Notes on a variety of topics for publication in each volume. The Bulletin was created in 2025 by Volume 111 of the Iowa Law Review to publish even more student-written scholarship and is a result of the Iowa Law Review's continued steps towards innovation in legal academia. Its creation is driven by the Iowa Law Review's dedicated mission to contribute meaningfully to legal scholarship by developing impactful and influential pieces written by students whose work can provide nuanced insight into niche areas that benefit practitioners and academics alike.
